Keeping nature working.
Axis Mundi Advisory exists to help economic institutions recognise and sustain the natural systems on which they depend.
Our New Zealand mission is to mobilise circa NZ$1 billion in annual nature stewardship funding. We bring together natural capital intelligence, beneficiary assessment, catchment institutions, stewardship finance, measurement and policy development.
Gaia Vista is the flagship architecture through which we are developing that mission: a coherent national framework with catchments at its centre.
Institutional positioning
A bridge between
evidence and action.
We work across disciplines and organisational boundaries. Our contribution is to connect the ecological baseline to the practical questions of who benefits, who contributes, who governs and how progress is demonstrated.
We develop concepts into scoped programmes, analytical tools and institutional proposals. Implementation brings together the organisations and specialist expertise needed for the task.
Our platform is designed to serve catchment communities, mana whenua, businesses, financial institutions, public agencies, philanthropic funders and research partners.

Grounded in place
Catchment realities and local relationships shape the work. Authority, representation and participation are agreed through engagement.
Clear about evidence
We make methods and assumptions visible, distinguish proposals from verified outcomes and welcome independent review.
Focused on delivery
We connect analysis to roles, commitments, funding and implementation rather than treating valuation as the endpoint.
